Note that EXP-style kits ship in two control layouts. If your kit has two tone knobs rather than one, you want the HH 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 3-Way diagram instead. Count your knobs before you start.
Tips
- NV is the neck volume, BV the bridge volume, T the single shared tone.
- The one shared tone control is what makes this layout different from the more common 2 volume / 2 tone wiring. Both pickups feed the same tone pot.
- All grounds go to bridge ground, as marked.
- Wire colors may vary between kit batches — match by position, not color.
