Cannot find a diagram for your kit?
If you are building a Guitar Kit World kit, you will get a wiring diagram. Every time. If nothing above matches your electronics, send us photos of your control cavity, your pickups and your switch, and we will draw a diagram specific to your build.
Send your photos to [email protected] with your order number or kit SKU.
Clear, well lit photos get a faster answer. We need to see the back of the pots, the switch terminals, and the wires coming out of each pickup.
Building a kit from somewhere else? Post in this section anyway. It is open to everyone, whether you bought from us or not, and other builders will help you work it out.
Before you solder
- Wire colors change between production batches. Match by position on the diagram, not by color.
- Some kits arrive with the harness pre-soldered. If yours does and it does not match the diagram, post a photo here before you desolder anything.
- Check continuity with a multimeter before you string the guitar up.
